Our Work

This is the broken saw.

Here is the worst possible condition a Pertici double mitre saw found itself with a heavy handed owner who asked us to help. Aluminium is a soft metal which stretches during a crack or break. This Fabricator drilled a hole and tapped it into the head in order to lock the head from moving, not using the correct bolt hole. Enormous force caused the entire head to fracture and stretch eventually to break. As can be seen this head travels the whole length of the 3m saw so must have both "bar carriers" on the head exactly parallel. Welding aluminium is very hard at the best of time. This was to really test out skills. But it worked.

 This is the repaired saw.
